Today the Sisters of St. Margaret greeted with sadness the news of the death of the Rt. Rev. M. Thomas Shaw, SSJE. Bishop Tom was our community’s Bishop Visitor for many of the twenty years he served as the Bishop of the Diocese of Massachusetts. Our connection with him has spanned decades; some of our Sisters remember him as a young brother celebrating the Eucharist at our convent. And so it is with both a heavy heart and the firm conviction of his future resurrection that we keep him and his brothers and family in our prayers.
